Do you do something special for Lent? We try to do something different than our normal routines, trying to take special time to think about how important Jesus really is to us.
Should we give up ice cream? Should we give up computer time? Should we add something in? Perhaps a prayer walk?
Should we do something for the whole season? Last year we fasted from something once a week.
Sarai had the idea that whatever we did, we should do it with some other families too. "How about a blog?"
So every day, we are going to share our family devotions, and we'd like to invite you to join in!
Follow us at our special site www.starfeldts.blogspot.com.
We hope you find it starts some great conversations with your kids!

It's Like Being Pregnant
NO, we are not pregnant. But we are waiting for May 4th.
May 4th is Call Day, the day when we learn where we will serve next year on vicarage and, hopefully, for many years to come.
We met with Dr. Neilsen at the sem to talk about ministry. We shared our hopes and dreams. We shared Chad's gifts and strengths (and weaknesses too) as we talked about serving God's kingdom. Now we wait for a church.
It is like being pregnant. We have an enourmous life change that imminently awaits. We are doing everything we can to get ready for it. Mostly, we wait. Expectanly, we wait!
We are excited and hopeful. Pray for us while we wait.

This means many so many changes. We have repainted every room in the house, packed boxes, and made home repairs to get our house ready to sell. Now we wait for a buyer.
